Idora scrambler at Dellgrosso's?
I was searching the web tonight and found an interview done with the owners of Dellgrosso's that claims their Scrambler came from Idora. I have
their phone# and will verify A.S.A.P. It seems quite likely as their web site states they did a lot of upgrades in the 80's. As soon as I find
out for sure I will post an update.

Well, we have received confirmation. This our old scrambler. The owners
are supposed to call us back with some more details. Chris and I have been thinking of trying to get a plaque posted somewhere near it. Something to
the effect that this scrambler came from Idora Park Youngstown and this plaque is dedicated to it's memory by the members of www.idorapark.org or
something like that. What do you guys think? I would imagine a small plaque should be pretty cheap.

Not yet. Like I said they are supposed to be getting back to us. When they do we will ask. If we don't hear anything in the next few days we
(Chris) will call and see what's up.

Sounds good... I was thinking of what we shoudl do for a plaque and figured it should be something along the lines of the Cedar Downs Plaque at Cedar
Point...
While we are at it, maybe we should do something for the train at deer park too!

Um..well, sure Cedar Point has a real nice plaque but I was thinking more along the lines of something a little smaller and more affordable. More like
the plaques that are used on tropheys or the ones Lakemont has around Leap The Dips from the sponsors.

great news
I talked to Dellgrosso's
and he said we can have a dedication plaque for the Scrambler which premiered at Idora in 1971 and Dellgrosso bought it in the auction. I looked a
little for prices and they are not cheap plus we have to think about mounting also. We have to let them know all the details so they can approve and
we will be "guest of the park" for the dedication. Ideas and suggestion please. This is kinda what I was thinking?

I like it, only changes I would make is probably have the full website address on there somewhere too, and make sure we get the spelling of Del
Grosso's right too!
What kind of prices are we talking??? We could have a few fundraisers or something!

The plaque with the logo 14x12 is $385.It would be bronze like the one for Cedar Point Matt posted a pic of. I compaired prices and this is the best
price I could find since the plaque itself was about $150-$200 depending on size.It would take about 2 months and we would have to send the proof to
Del Grosso, so they can okay it. It would not really be engraving from my understanding but raised letters. What does everyone think?
It is also at a local place in Austintown.

About the plaque, I have been trying to get a hold of Peter to see what kind of space we are working with but I have not been able to get ahold of
anyone. I will keep trying though. Has anyone ever been to Del Grosso?
