Idora Expert Discusses Park
Hi All! This press release was forwarde to the Farm & Dairy. Thought I would pass the info on.
Fellows Riverside Gardens will host the program Remembering Idora: Part 1 Oct. 18th at 2 p.m. Idora Park expert Rick Shale will be the guest leader
on this walk around the perimeter of the historic amusement park. Meet at Lanterman's Mill overflow parking lot.
Part II of the event will be held Oct. 20th at 7:30 p.m.
Shale, author of Idora Park: The Last Ride of Summer, will talk about the park on the 25th anniversary of its liquidation auction.

just got back from the hike and it ws awsome....i have numerous pictures as towards the end we took a walk to the picnic hill...i also have some video
as well...and hope to pass along to Matt....the 2nd part of Rick's tribute will be a fellow riverside gardens this tuesday and i plan to be there as
well
i will post a few pics from today and leave the rest for matt...also matt i didnt have a chance to see if he would collabarate on the site ...but hope
to ask his opinion on tuesday

Am & i always seemed to lag behind the group when walking...lol...but would catch up when mr.shale would stop and tell history and stories
heres the group headed toward the ballroom...we ended up stopping at what would have been inside the ballroom almost at the small midway that ran
between it and the stone steps
